Meet the Mom: Nancy Hovey

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Manchester-by-The-Sea’s Elliot Hovey competed in the quadruple sculls.

Unfortunately his boat did not make it into Wednesday’s semi-finals, but his family says they couldn’t be more proud of his appearance in London.

7News sat down with his mom, Nancy, to talk about what it’s like to raise an Olympian. Check out the video to see what she had to say.
