Tom Brady looking to buy land in Brookline

BROOKLINE, Mass. (WHDH) -- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen are looking to buy several acres of land in Brookline.

Pine Manor College is looking to subdivide five acres and sell to a private homeowner. The potential buyers are Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.

But first, Pine Manor College has to get approval Thursday night from the Board of Appeals to subdivide the property and then allow the buyers to build a 7,500 square-foot home, and two other buildings including a reported 1,342 square-foot yoga studio.

So, what do people think about having Tom and Gisele as neighbors?

"I'm a Pats fan, I'd love to have Tom Brady in my neighborhood," said Jonah Zuflacht.

“I could care less. People are people. They can live wherever they want,” said Erica Eaton.

“That’s a good place to raise a family; great schools. It’s a good place to live,” said Mayram Lawrence, a Brookline resident.

The Brady clan would live just yards away from Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Only the buyers' attorneys will be present at the meeting Thursday night.
