Gronkowski delivers equipment to local Pop Warner
FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- The top players for the Patriots and Lions will likely play most of the game Thursday night, as starters typically play into the third quarter in the third preseason game.
One big name who will obviously not be on the field is tight end Rob Gronkowski.
He is still rehabbing from surgery on his forearm and back and is expected to miss at least two regular season games.
Gronkowksi delivered equipment to the Brockton Pop Warner program Wednesday and he remains in high spirits.
“When the time's right, you know how we roll. Day by day man and when I’m good to go, I’m good to go and I'll be just as excited as these kids and that's what's most important right now is these kids out here all happy, all excited. Put a smile on my face tonight too,” said Gronkowski.
The Patriots will play the Lions in Detroit on Thursday night.
