Patriots OT Nate Solder gives back, thanks volunteers
MANSFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder visited the Mansfield Animal Shelter Tuesday to thank the volunteers and spend some of his time helping out.
Solder presented an award to the Patriots Foundation Volunteer of the Week and walked a few dogs after touring the shelter.
“It’s near and dear to my heart, I have a few dogs. I was actually pre-vet. I was going to be a vet until football came along,” Solder said.
Solder said he tried to be involved with the Patriots Foundation every week, and he believes volunteering is something great for the team to do.
