Wes Welker gives tickets to shirtless Patriots fan

UNDATED -- One Patriots fan proved dedication can pay off. The man braved the cold and went shirtless at Saturday’s game against the Broncos.
The man tweeted a picture of himself to Wes Welker and told the receiver if he had the chance, he’d do it again.
Welker responded, “U sir! R AMAZING! Well consider urself having a ticket +1! A performance of going shirtless like that, has to be rewarded.”
The fan then tweeted tight end Rob Gronkowski, “See you next week Gronk, @WesWelker set me up with tickets for going shirtless last night. Patriots players are second to none.”
Thanks in part to Twitter, he is excited to have two tickets to the AFC championship game.
“Every game I go to, regardless of the weather I do body paint. Last night was the only game that I didn’t make it all the way through,” said Bobby Servideo, the lucky fan.
Bobby is a diehard Patriots fan from North Carolina who was in New England visiting family for the Patriots game.
He made it almost all the way through the first half without a shirt on.
“Never had a problem with my body but last night I was shaking pretty heavily,” said Bobby.
He was surprised when Wes Welker responded to his tweet.
“I decided just to tweet him the body paint picture and he said it was awesome. It took about an hour with full clothes and a little time in the men’s restroom to get all the feeling back,” said Bobby.
Bobby said he will be back at it next week.
“Thanks to Wes I will be body painted up for next week’s game and I plan to stay no shirt the whole game,” said Bobby.
Bobby said he only began tweeting last week and he’ll never again underestimate the power of Twitter.
