Some Patriots players party after Super Bowl loss
FOXBORO, Mass. -- Some of the Patriots stars decided to deal with the loss by dancing. Rob Gronkowski and Matt Light got on the dance floor just hours after the heartbreaking defeat.
Gronkowski and Light ripped off their shirts and hit the stage at the Patriots post game party in Indy.
Matt Light and Rob Gronkowski let loose. Gronk ditched his shirt as the music group LMFAO performed.
“They’re over there dancing, huh? That's how much they care? Looks like the fans care more than they do,” said Robert Rodriguez, a Patriots fan.
7News showed pictures of the partying Patriots to fans. As you can imagine some were not happy.
“Maybe a little low. They should have taken it a little low key, that was too much I think,” said Nelly Hernandez, a Patriots fan.
“Wrong. Wrong thing to do. That's disrespect sure you got all the money and you’re going to do that? No way that's not class,” said Richard Antimone, a Patriots fan.
Some were curious about Gronk's ankle injury.
“I guess he wasn't that hurt then. He could have done more at the game then. It’s too bad,” said Rodriguez.
But some fans understood what a pressure cooker the players must have been in the past two weeks.
“They’re having fun. They're de-stressing. I mean, yeah it might have been a little risqué, but people let off stress in different ways,” said one Patriots fan.
“It’s after the season it’s not like they have a game to worry about next week or tomorrow. It doesn't matter to me, if I was in the same position maybe not as publicly but definitely privately,” said James Ryan, a Patriots fan.
