MEDFORD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Patriots linebacker Rob Ninkovich spoke about the passing of Junior Seau following a Tufts University event on Wednesday.
Ninkovich was at Tufts for an event with the university’s football team. He spoke about Junior Seau afterwards.
Ninkovich said “Seau was a wonderful teammate and a great NFL football player.”
The two played for the Patriots in 2009.
Ninkovich was hesitant to talk about Seau because he said the information coming from California was just developing.
“One of my heroes growing up, unbelievable linebacker. Great person. So, I don’t talk about anything that has happened to him because I really don’t know anything about it,” Ninkovich said.
