Tom Brady reacts to his Funny or Die ad

FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- Tom Brady and the Patriots got back to work Thursday, hitting the practice field for some off-season workouts. But the buzz in Foxboro was all about the quarterback's work on camera.

Brady recently starred in a comedic online commercial. Thursday, the QB gave his take on his performance.

“It was pretty much me being me. You know, my teammates see me angry all the time so it’s pretty easy to get riled up and that part of acting is pretty easy,” Brady said. “I was laughing the whole day and then they’re like, ‘No, you got to get angry.”

In the Under Armour promotional video posted on the website Funny or Die, number 12 is depicted shopping for a golf shirt in Los Angeles. In the ad, Brady gets angry when the clerk insists he has a heavy Boston accent.

Brady, who was working out with the Patriots at Gillette Thursday, got some critiques from teammates.

“Let’s give him a little bit more time,” said Deion Branch, Patriots wide receiver.

“I thought it was great. Have you guys seen Sean Penn in Mystic River? That’s kind of what he did there. A little anger,” said Julian Edelman, Patriots wide receiver.
