Woman claims she distracted Gronk during game

FOXBORO (WHDH) -- The Patriots Rob Gronkowski may have more than football on his mind. A former adult film star says the tight end is thinking about her on the field.

That woman who has been photographed with Gronk before says the Pats star told her he dropped catches on Sunday because of her.

The latest picture posted on the Britney Maclin Twitter page shows a smiling Gronk in a T-shirt and shorts standing with his football jersey and the scantily clad former porn star who went by the screen name Bi Bi Jones.

Maclin tweeted, “Pic of gronk and I that no one has ever seen lol -- naughty!”

Maclin then tweeted analysis of Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals: “Gronk told me he dropped those balls because he was thinking of me. Gotta get back in his life :)”

Maclin is the same young woman who appeared in a photo with Gronk last fall. The two photos may have been taken at the same time.

The tight end practiced hard Wednesday to get ready for the game against the Ravens Sunday night. He says he remains focused, and blocks everything out.

“You just can’t worry about it. We just come in every day and we just got to do our own job,” Gronkowski said.

7News asked head coach Bill Belichick whether he thinks Gronk is able to set aside off the field distractions.

“I think Gronk has, like all players, football is important to them, they work hard at it and with every player that we have, and every coach that we have, I think there’s room for improvement,” Belichick said.
