FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WHDH) -- It’s back to business for the Patriots now that the fines against Coach Bill Belichick have been levied and the real referees have returned.
"We’re sitting here at 1-2 and looking up at Buffalo and the Jets. It’s a big, obviously, big game for us in terms of conference and division standings. Any time you play a division opponent on the road it's a big game,” said quarterback, Tom Brady.
Looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak in a decade, the Patriots are in unfamiliar territory and aren't too happy about it.
"Hate to lose. Anybody hate to lose. I don't care if it's 1 in a row or 2 in a row or 10 in a row. You don't want to lose. So the only thing we can do is get better,” said Vince Wilfork.
"No loss is easy to get over but it's something you have to do. You have to stay focused, stay positive and just keep playing your ball. We have a job, they have a job, everyone has a job so just do your job and stop worrying about things we can't control,” said Patrick Chung.
That includes a wild western New York crowd, who should be fired up before the ball is even in the air.
"A lot of energy. You get a couple beer cans and eggs thrown at your bus as you're coming in so it’s always fun to watch all the fans go crazy as the bus is rolling in,” said Rob Ninkovich.
"Yeah it gets rowdy out there so getting off to a good start is gonna be huge for us,” said Jerod Mayo.
The Patriots will play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
