FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- There is no doubt Tom Brady is the Patriots’ marquee player and arguably the best quarterback in the NFL. Texans’ Matt Schaub is not -- but he does have two of the best weapons in the league.

With respect to Wes Welker and Stevan Ridley, Texans receiver Andre Johnson and Arian Foster have formed one of the most potent one-two punches over the last three years.

Foster led the league in rushing in 2010 and has been a top five rusher since then, while Andre Johnson has been considered one of the top five receivers in the league his entire career. It’s rare to see players of that caliber at each position.

"Yeah, you're talking about two of the best in the league right now and you'll probably talk about those guys later down the line being top guys at their position in NFL history so you put that together with a very good quarterback, Math Schaub, they have a dangerous offense,” said Devin McCourty, Patriots corner back.

"Definitely they have some talent over there. Those two guys are heck of football players; they have a lot of talent across the board so we'll have to be ready for that," said Steve Gregory, Patriots safety.

While Houston is often associated with a dominating defense, it’s clear the Patriots’ defense will need one of their best weeks this season to slow down the Texans’ two-headed monster on offense.
