Brady opens up about newborn daughter

FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- Tom Brady made a big statement on the field Monday night, but it's his baby talk that many are listening to.

Brady is known for being private when it comes to his family. But he and his wife, Gisele Bundchen, welcomed their first daughter last week. And well, dad is gushing.

Tom Brady just helped the patriots earn their biggest win of the season, but it may not have been his biggest win of the week.

One reporter asked Brady how his newborn is doing. Brady replied, “She’s doing very well, thank you.”

Brady and his wife celebrated the birth of baby girl Vivian Lake on Wednesday and Brady’s been beaming ever since.

Little Vivian is Brady's third child -- his second with supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen.

And tom says his two sons, Ben and Jack, couldn't be happier.

“They’re very excited. It's been a great week, great way to end it,” said Brady.

Bundchen posted a picture of Vivian on Facebook, adding a message to fans saying: "We feel so lucky to have been able to experience the miracle of birth once again and are forever grateful for the opportunity to be the parents of another little angel."

Brady hasn't talked about the baby much, choosing to focus on football while at Foxboro.

But, after the big win, he opened up about sharing memories with his kids.

A reported asked Brady what game of his he would show Vivian when she’s older. Brady responded, “I don’t know, hopefully there are some good ones to come.”
