Patriots Rob Ninkovich suffers hip injury

FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- A bye allows the Patriots players to rest for a week and the team is hoping linebacker Rob Ninkovich can recover during the time off.

Ninkovich suffered a hip injury during the second quarter of Sunday’s win against the Miami Dolphins.

He did not return.

It was not known how long he is expected to be out.
