BOSTON (WHDH) -- The Patriots weren’t even finishing polishing off the Texans on Sunday when the trash talking started.

While watching the game, Baltimore Ravens’ linebacker, Brendon Ayanbadejo, tweeted, “New England does some suspect stuff on offense. Can’t really respect it.”

But, the Patriots didn’t take the bait.

“I don’t think about those kind of comments,” said Matthew Slater, Patriots wide receiver.

The disciplined Patriots said they’re focused on football, not talking smack.

“We’re just focused on getting ready this week man. We’re gonna go hit this grind stone, get to practice and get focused on what we need to do as a team to go out there and win a football game,” said Steve Gregory, Patriots defensive back.

But, Pats fans were happy to do the talking for them.

“People are gonna say anything to kinda trash talk the other team but at the end of the day it comes down to whoever plays better,” said a fan.

Ayanbadejo also brought up Spygate and tried to get under the Patriots skin by tweeting ‘18 to 1’ referring to the Pats almost perfect season. But, not even that could get a rise out of the Pats.

“Yea, no, I’ve got no response to that. It is what it is. We’ll play on Sunday,” said Shane Vereen, Patriots running back.
