Red Sox parade to stop at Boston Marathon finish
BOSTON (WHDH) -- When the Red Sox players are riding the duck boats around Boston they will be making a special stop at the Boston marathon finish line to honor the bombing victims.
Members of the team have felt connected to the ‘Boston Strong’ since April 15 when the attack occurred.
"When the marathon tragedy happened, they didn't need to be told anything. It was a group of players that did stuff on their own. They came together on their own. It was a completely genuine, organic movement and it really drove them through the year. It's hard to put in words right now. It's a great feeling,” Red Sox General Manager Ben Cherington said.
