BOSTON (WHDH) -- As number 76 of the Boston Red Sox’s ‘100 Acts of Kindness’ program, families can enjoy a free night of Trick-or-Treating at Fenway Park on Halloween.
The Red Sox began ‘100 Acts of Kindness’ to highlight and support work done by charitable institutions in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Fenway Park in 2012. The ‘acts’ will be anything from donations to volunteer events and hosting community events. Various not-for-profit organizations will join the Red Sox for the ‘100 Acts of Kindness.’ No matter the ‘Act’ - a combination of Red Sox ownership, players, alumni and staff will be on hand.
For Wednesday’s Trick-or-Treat night at Fenway, Red Sox alumni Frank Malzone, Ted Lepcio, Rich Gedman and Bob Montgomery will be meeting fans and signing autographs.
Families were encouraged to wear costumes and enter the park through Gate B. Discounted concessions will be offered during the event which runs from 4-8 p.m.
