Viewer Voices: Emergency Alert System

UNDATED -- On Wednesday at 2 p.m. the FCC issued its first nationwide test of the emergency alert system on television and radio. The alert system, if needed, can be activated by the president to inform the public in times of an emergency.

7News wants to know: In this age of technology, with DVR and online radio, how effective do you think the Emergency Alert System is? Would you be opposed to a national text alert system? What other methods could be used to alert the nation in the event of an emergency?
