Vatican discusses priests' celibacy
VATICAN CITY (WHDH) -- Pope Francis has raised eyebrows since his election in March, but is he changing Catholic tradition?
Vatican Secretary of State Archbishop Pietro Parolin candidly discussed priest celibacy during a recent interview.
Parolin said it is not a definite, but if there were changes to the tradition it would require thought and discussion. He added that Catholics cannot simply say it is part of the past.
