Officials: Australian suspected in Bulgaria bomb
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Two Western officials say an Australian is a suspect in the bus attack in Bulgaria last year that killed five Israelis and a Bulgarian driver.
The officials are familiar with the investigation and spoke Tuesday only on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the news media.
U.S. officials are expecting Bulgarian investigators to link the militant group Hezbollah to the bomb attack on July 18 that killed five Israeli tourists in the coastal city of Burgas.
Investigators are releasing a summary of their findings to the Bulgarian government Tuesday.
