Adam Williams
7NEWS Anchor
Adam Williams is an anchor of 7NEWS Today in New England (M-F, 5-7 a.m.) and 7NEWS at noon, as well as a general assignment reporter. He also anchors 7NEWS news breaks during the TODAY Show.
Adam moved to Boston from our sister station, WSVN in Miami Florida, where he anchored the Weekend Edition of Today In Florida.
Prior to WSVN, Adam was a general assignment reporter at KRQE, a CBS Affiliate in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While at KRQE, he was recognized by the New Mexico Broadcasters Association for a series called “Cattle Cruising," and for a documentary called “The Execution of Terry Clark." Clark's execution was the first execution in 42 years in the state of New Mexico. The Associated Press later recognized Adam for a special series called “Death Penalty Beyond the Sentence."
A native of New Mexico, Adam received a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Eastern New Mexico University.
