Rain will continue. Heavy at times south and east of Plymouth. Raw temps in the 40s. East/northeast winds gust over 40 on the Cape and the Islands.
Early showers - esp. on the Cape - then clouds SLOWLY break by afternoon starting first in the Merrimack Valley. Mid and upper 50s - close to 60 outer Rt. 2. NNE breeze.
From Mama Nature to your Mama: sunshine and seasonable temps. Low to mid 60s - warmest away from the water.
Another storm to...dodge? Not quite ready to say that (see below). Rain moves in. Low 50s.
More rain. Occasionally heavy. Mid 40s!
Day 3 of the nor'easter? Could be. Lots of rain. Upper 40s.
Well, well, well. Storm path is a bit south with this one. Means the heaviest rain and the strongest wind will stay on the Cape/Islands tonight. While we may see an inch or more there, the lighter rains in Greater Boston will only squeeze out a quarter of an inch (or less). So it goes in this hot and cold weather pattern.
A weaker, drier outcome with tonight's storm means Saturday is looking brighter and warmer. And of course, we're putting on our Sunday best for Ma. Cool north winds will keep the temps sub-70 in the afternoon, but a dry day is a dry day - we'll take what we can get.
Big three-day nor'easter threatens next week, but with fickle storms that change directions at a whim, I'm noncommittal (typical guy) at this point. Nonetheless, I will paint the wettest, coldest picture I can in the seven day forecast.
Hmmm...maybe I'm the one who is the schizophrenic psycho.
Make it a good weekend.
