Easy Like Sunday Morning

So... how bout' that 7-day?
In the world of weather, sometimes patterns get stuck. When they do, some folks can't buy a ray of sunshine, while others bask in the sun's glory day after day. If you've taken a peek at the 7-day, you know what side of the stuck pattern we're on.
Day to day, we won't see huge changes, a few degrees here and there, and more clouds around late Monday and Tuesday. A few showers during that time frame reach the Connecticut River Valley, but from Worcester to Boston, we stay dry. Temps this week average 65-70 inland and 55-60 at the coast. No beach weather yet, but it's certainly nice to have great baseball, golf, biking, soccer, (insert any other outdoor activity here) _________, weather.
While we enjoy the nice Spring weather, the national weather story late next week and next weekend may be May snow for parts of the Plains! Yikes.

With so many ups and downs in Spring around New England, it's nice to establish a pattern that's dry and near, or just above normal temperatures wise. The downside, the pollen counts remain high, and some days features elevated brush fire threats with such a dry air mass in place. The upside of course is the dry weather, perfect for hitting the golf course, the baseball field, or any other outdoor activity. Although, still a bit cool for the beach.

Winning Streak

Not only have the Sox won 3 in a row, but the weather around New England is about to break out into quite the winning streak of it's own. Sure, it's a cool start, but with a sunny to partly cloudy day, temperatures jump up quickly. We'll reach the upper 50s at the coast and mid to upper 60s inland. If that's not warm enough for you, add another 5 degrees on top of that to get tomorrow's highs. Fenway's forecast this weekend features low to mid 50s at the game this evening and mid 60s at the game tomorrow afternoon.

Fun In The Sun

If you're into the sun (and who isn't after a cold, snowy finish to winter?) then the forecast is right down your alley. We have oodles of it in the days ahead - some blue, some shared with clouds - but one thing lacking is the storms.

I'm not going to front you.....I have serious case of the Fridays. Thankfully it appears Mother Nature does too. For the next several days our weather pattern goes into sleep mode here in New England with high pressure just about on top of us providing sunshine (with clouds here & there) and seasonably mild temps.
