Drama

Posted by

The DVR gets set on Monday nights to record the Voice and I do everything in my power not to hear any highlights until after I watch it the next day. But at around 11p last night, my fiance wakes me up to talk about the drama between Tony Lucca, X-tina, and Adam Levine. I was a little groggy, but remember hearing "and he sang this, and she said it was offensive, and he did awesome, and Adam had a t'shirt, etc.) I couldn't resist watching the highlights on 7news this morning and I can't wait to watch all the drama unfold! What an amazing show with such great talent!

Speaking of drama, after the sunshine we had yesterday with highs in the 70s, we're talking rain for the next few days. Here's the breakdown:

This morning: Waiting on a warm front, so it's cloudy and rainy to start off today with the heaviest rain north of the Pike. We'll get into a lull late this morning into this afternoon.

This evening: After the front moves through, dewpoints will start to rise and we'll see scattered showers and pockets of rain.

Wednesday: We're on the warmer, more humid side of the warm front and will be waiting on a cold front. That front will give us heavier pockets of rain and isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon. Then the front stalls out across the southeast and we'll see clouds and showers through the night.

Thursday: An area of low pressure will ride along that front and give us heavier rain Thursday morning, but as it all pulls east, we'll see partial clearing Thursday afternoon.

Friday and the weekend look sunny with highs in the 60s and 70s. Perfect for Mother's Day! Love you mom!

Back and Forth

Quite a few clouds in the sky at times this afternoon, but the atmosphere lacked ample moisture to produce showers, so we made out just fine with temps near 70.  Even the coast made it well into the 60s before the onshore wind knocked temps back.

Pretty Good Weekend Overall

Sure, it's a cool start with many of the suburbs down into the upper 30s and lower 40s, but we'll warm up quickly through the day as that sun helps us out.

Strong Finish

An overall cooler day, but also a great end to the workweek as highs neared 70, low humidity continued and plenty of sunshine dominated the skies.  Now all we need is this to continue through the weekend right?

Still Good

How about yesterday?  The 82 in Boston matched the warmest temp we've had since September 13th.  Of course, with a wind gusting past 30mph and relative humidity near 18%, it certainly didn't feel oppressive.
