Full Day Of Sunshine
Posted by Jeremy Reiner
That's more like it. Sunshine all over the place. That dry air does have a crisp feel to it & will set us up for a cool Friday morning. Check out the forecasted low temps:
See that 35 out in Orange? That could lead to some patchy frost---there could even be a few cool pockets of air as close as the I-495 corridor early tomorrow morning. otherwise, we're right back into the sunshine for Finally Friday. A full day of sunshine this time of year can really do wonders--look for most towns to reach the low 70s.....more like the lower 60s along the immediate coast.
Onto the weekend! No issues here as high pressure is a slow mover and that means sunshine both weekend days. On Saturday, that high pressure allows a sea breeze to develop so while inland towns make a run at 80, coastal towns will be kept in check (low 70s). On Sunday, the sea breeze will be touch-n-go which will allow most towns along the coast to reach the upper 70s. Inland towns will warm further---low 80s. #Yay.
Over the past 5 weeks, we've made a serious dent in our drought. many towns have picked up between 4-7" of rain in that 5 week period...nearly wiping out our drought condition. Still some work to do and that will happen early next week with a few showers on Tuesday.
Be safe. Stay classy.
