The Cover Of A Book
Posted by Jeremy Reiner
You know that saying...judging a book by its cover....that will work today as we start off the weekend with a big bag of clouds and even few sprinkles at times but the day is not completely tanked, only partially. The pattern is the same....humid with warm/hot conditions expected for the next several days.
Even though the pattern is a hot/stuffy pattern you can get these little tiny storms to affect you. That's what we have right now--a little weather system darting through southern New England. This little system will move out of here during the afternoon so plan on increasing sunshine after noon and when that happens, temps will skyrocket up near 90. Whoever sees the sun first will likely reach the low 90s and where those clouds remain stubborn (leaning toward Rt 2 area) temps will crawl into the upper 80s. We will all see high humidity for the day.
Sunday will offer the same amount of heat/humidity but the sky condition is likely to be reversed. We will likely start Sunday with hazy sunshine and then clouds win out during the afternoon hours. We may even see a few hit-n-miss showers & t-storms tomorrow afternoon.
Not a fan of this heat or humidity? Uh oh---the pattern holds firm until next Wednesday evening. At that time a strong cool front (by July standards) will blast through here sending Thing 1(heat) and Thing 2(humidity) packing for a few days.
Have a great weekend!
