On The Fence

On the fence. That fence lined up from about Hartford to Lawrence for much of the afternoon. West of that *fence* that sun was out and the air was comfortable. Southeast of said *fence* and you saw clouds & showers with cool temperatures. We need to move this fence out of air. That will happen-somewhat for the second part of the weekend.
The fence is actually a cool front that is slow moving (the title of my blog last night). This front will keep on moving tonight albeit rather slowly but by tomorrow it should be offshore. That means most of us will start with clouds but slowly see the sunshine take hold by midday and into the afternoon. Pleasant with afternoon highs in the mid 70s. The only areas that will struggle to lose the clouds will be the Cape/Islands. You guys will have the clouds for much of the day. The good news is those clouds will not throw raindrops at you.
As we look into next week, our pattern is a pattern filled with more comfortable (less humid) air. The only issue will be a tiny storm looking to vacation in New England late Monday afternoon & early Tuesday morning. Plan on clouds & showers when that system zips by Monday night. Otherwise sunshine is the rule.
Enjoy your Saturday evening.
