Out Like A Lamb
Posted by Chris Lambert
After the lion roared through much of the first few weeks of March, it now appears that the old adage will live up to it's saying as March heads out like a lamb. What a beauty we had today with temperatures in the middle to upper 50s under mostly sunny skies! Even a bit of a seabreeze kicked in this afternoon, a sure sign of Spring around here.
With clear skies and a dry air mass in place, temps fall quick this evening, and many of the burbs are back below freezing by sunrise services tomorrow. However, with ample sun, we'll jump back into the mid to upper 50s by mid afternoon. Also by mid afternoon, clouds start to fill in with rain showers arrived around sunset. Rain showers are locally heavy in the evening and overnight, with a rumble of thunder possible as well.
That wet weather is long gone by the morning commute on Monday. By Monday afternoon, we'll track a cold front as isolated showers moving through, but not before temperatures reach the upper 50s and lower 60s. Heading to the Bronx for the Sox and Yanks? Game time temp hovers in the lower 60s with a constant breeze and a slight chance of a shower.
Tuesday and Wednesday the colder weather filters back in, but at least it comes with some sunshine and not late season snow!
Enjoy your Easter Sunday and Passover!
