Hopping Right Along

It's a chilly start this Easter Sunday, but with sunshine and dry air in place, temperatures hop right back into the upper 50s as the sun warms us up with bunny-like quickness. However, by mid afternoon, clouds start to fill in and then rain showers arrived around sunset. Rain showers are locally heavy in the evening and overnight, with a rumble of thunder possible as well.
That wet weather is long gone by the morning commute on Monday. By Monday afternoon, we'll track a cold front as isolated showers moving through, but not before temperatures reach the mid 50s to lower 60s. Heading to the Bronx for the Sox and Yanks? Game time temp hovers in the lower 60s with a constant breeze and a slight chance of a shower.
Tuesday and Wednesday the colder weather filters back in, but at least it comes with some sunshine and not late season snow!
Dry weather prevails into Friday afternoon, however, late Friday and Friday night we'll watch for a cold rain and active northeast wind to settle in. The good news is, the storm looks to be a quick mover, meaning it's gone by Saturday morning.
Enjoy your Easter Sunday and Passover!
