Go Away Cold!

We can chalk this one up as another cold and breezy early Spring day with highs only in the mid 40s, compared to the lower 50s we average this time of year. Fortunately, I do see milder weather in the forecast, it just won't return tonight. With clear skies and a strong breeze, it'll be another cold night across the area with the city of Boston slipping toward the 30 degree mark by daybreak and many of the suburbs back into the mid 20s. Factor in the breeze, and wind chill factors dip into the teens and lower 20s.
The chill in the air tomorrow morning erodes by midday, and by the afternoon, we're in a better position temperature wise. Most of us reach the mid 50s, and despite a breeze that's still active, it won't be quite as strong. The Cape and Islands remain the coolest with temps in the upper 40s.
It'll be a close call for us Friday regarding storm to our southeast. It's close enough to graze us with more clouds and a few showers across Plymouth/Buzzards Bay/Cape/Islands, but far enough away, that many of us stay dry. At least it'll remain mild too.
The weekend looks good. It's a cool and breezy start Saturday, but a nice finish, and a good looking Sunday ahead.
Looks like dry and mild weather continues Monday too for the home opener. To be honest though, the temperature forecast for the Monday-Wednesday time-frame is tricky next week. This time of year an onshore breeze kicks us from the 60s to the 40s. I think that'll happen by Wednesday, but any earlier switch in the wind direction would take those Monday or Tuesday temperatures down as well.
