Going With The Flow
Posted by Jeremy Reiner
Just go with the flow, that's what I hear. The flow of air today will be from the east---from that chilly ocean and that means it will be a struggle to reach the 50s along the coast today. Even inland, our temps will only reach the lower 50s but that sun will shine for much of the day. Jackets & sweaters will serve you well for much of the day & evening.
Tomorrow will be another chilly day and to make matters worse we even lose the sun as a small, quick moving storm takes a swipe at us. That storm tosses most of its raindrops at the fish but plan on a few showers/periods of rain (especially along the coastline) for much of the day. Rainfall amounts will be light with many towns picking up only .10-.25" of rain. Temps take a hit, staying in the 40s for much of the day.
By midweek that sunshine returns and instead of an east wind from the ice cube (also known as the ocean) the wind direction will be from the southwest giving temps a nice boost by afternoon. In fact, most towns will be near 70 by afternoon. Thursday offers the risk of a few scattered showers but we will stay mild with afternoon highs still expected to reach the 60s despite more clouds.
