It's All Greek To Me

Chris touched upon this last night.....an "omega block" in the atmosphere where a high pressure system is sandwiched inbetween 2 low pressure storms. If you end up under one of these *lows*, it's nasty for several days with rain, drizzle & fog. If you end up under that lone high pressure it can be pretty sweet. We will be under that high pressure for much of the week!
That means the weather message is simple (as is this blog). Plan on varying amounts of clouds from day to day with seasonal temps. Today, the clouds will be in much greater numbers than yesterday so it won't be as bright as Sunday but it will stay dry despite more clouds around. Afternoon temps will reach the mid & upper 60s by afternoon. Pretty good for a fair amount of clouds in the sky.
Tuesday and beyond offers partly to mostly sunny skies with early morning temps in the 40s and afternoon highs reaching the mid 60s. great for travel plans and outdoor enthusiasts but you green-thumbers/ flower children will have to water the lawns & gardens yourselves.
