Precious & Few

Well the rain finally came...at least for some. Lots of green blobs on the radar, but they're quick-moving and mostly light. As a result, the rain hasn't amounted to a whole lot across much of the Eastern Mass. The steadiest - and heaviest - rain has fallen over Western Mass. and Connecticut as thunder erupted this afternoon. Nonetheless, we'll grab all we can in this unsettled pattern, and there are more opportunities tonight and tomorrow.
Low pressure will cruise across the Commonwealth tomorrow. As the airmass is cold overhead, there might be some thunderstorms in the afternoon. Certainly is enough moisture around:
Yep, it's back. The Frizz Factor takes into account the higher dewpoints (sticky air) and any wet weather in the forecast. The two can combine to make hair exasperatingly frizzy. (I can't relate, but with two women in the household, I get it...)
Late-breaking weather news this evening - Friday isn't looking bad. In fact, the chance for showers is miniscule and the sun will be out. Many spots will see the thermometer spike to near 80 by afternoon! Cooler 60s & 70s are expected across SE Mass.
In contrast, Saturday isn't looking like a slam-dunk. I'm having timing issues with the rain. Right now it looks like the wet weather favors the AM hours, but that could change to an all-day affair with one wiggle of the front to our west. Give me another day to firm it up.
Sunday is OK, but not ideal. Still a little unsettled and mainly cloudy. Threat for showers/thunder in the afternoon.
