Pretty Good Weekend Overall
Posted by Chris Lambert
Sure, it's a cool start with many of the suburbs down into the upper 30s and lower 40s, but we'll warm up quickly through the day as that sun helps us out.
It may not be picture perfect all weekend long, but I don't see many issues for graduation parties, ball games or golf outings. Today is the slightly warmer and brighter of the two days with highs in the low to mid 60s at the coast, lower 70s inland. I can't rule out a sprinkle or brief, light shower near the MA/NH border in afternoon/evening, but the rain chance overall is low.
Sunday, the atmosphere is a bit more unstable and I expect a sprinkle of brief shower to be scattered about the area with the highest chance outside 495. The overall rain chance Sunday runs 20-30%, so not all towns will see rain, and even if you do get a shower, dry weather is still the dominate theme through the day. More clouds are around though and highs range from the low to mid 60s along the immediate coast to the upper 60s inland.
A better chance of showers slides in with a warm front overnight Sunday and Monday morning with muggier weather to follow for Monday and Tuesday.
The rain chance is there most days next week, however, no day stands as a washout. With a front close-by, occasional batches of showers/thunder roll along it, bringing us periodic rain. We'll get our dry stretches in there too, just tough to pinpoint the timing of it each day this far out.
We'll fine tune that forecast as we go, in the meantime, enjoy the weekend!
