When It Rains it Pours

Oh looky here---more rain. After this latest storm, Boston will be very close to a top 5 wettest June (7.92" this year....5th wettest is 8.63"). Enough already! No , this is NOT our summer pattern but it obviously has been the pattern the first 2 weeks of June. we will be in the past for a few more days BUT you can string a couple of nice days in a row of despite the gloomy pattern.
Those nice couple of days are this weekend! Bam! I'll take it. Sunshine is expected tomorrow with high temps near 80. For Father's Day there will be a few more clouds in the sky---perhaps even a mostly cloudy sky at times late Sunday afternoon but still a great day for the old man.
Backing up to today's message. It features rain until mid morning and then skies will try to partially clear out during the afternoon. That is most likely to happen north of Boston and that's where you will find your warmest temps--near 70. Meanwhile, on the Cape/Islands look for temps held in check (upper 50s) with thicker clouds and a cool northeast wind. Skies clear everywhere this evening.
Have a great weekend!
