As we exit our recent soggy pattern we do so with one more weather system capable of producing scattered showers & t-storms. This cool front is a slow mover (aren't we all on Monday mornings?!) up in northern New England right now. This slow moving front will settle into our part of the world very late this afternoon bringing a chance of some scattered t-storms between 4-pm. Until then you have a great day with mostly sunny skies along with temperatures in the low 80s. For some, a bit on the humid side for much of the day.
This front actually slows to a grinding halt tonight & lingers here on Tuesday. That means more clouds for tomorrow and a chance of showers/t-storms at any time---but not an all day rain. Not as warm with more clouds tomorrow but more humid. With lower temps but added humidity, tomorrow will likely be more uncomfortable than today despite the lower temps.
Thankfully, this front packs its bags on Wednesday morning and will slide out of here during the day. This does two things....A) gets rid of the humidity and 2) allows for ample sunshine with virtually no chance of rain. Sweet.
Our pattern will then shift into a more summery one. One that offers warmer temps and more sunshine as we roll into the upcoming weekend.
