Fire It Up!

Felt a little warm today? There's more summer in the days ahead.
Hot high pressure is building across the Northeast. 90s WON'T be common, but upper 80s and high humidity will rule the roost into midweek.
We're not without our thunder chances either. I'm not seeing widespread pounding thunderstorms, but from Monday to Wednesday the clouds are free to roam and build into afternoon rumblers. Keep an eye to the sky for these. There's enough heat and humidity to make them nasty.
Speaking of an eye to the sky, the moon is putting on quite a show in the coming nights. Although muddied with high clouds and haze, it will be the closest to the earth for the entire year. Obviously, the added bonus is that it's full too. Combine those, and the moon will appear 12-14% larger than normal. Here's an example of a past supermoon from a few years back:
Don't worry if you miss it. We'll see another one next August.
Make it a good Sunday!
