Bottles of Water and Sunscreen
Posted by Chris Lambert
So, kind of a big weekend for the beaches, the boats and the lakes huh? With the Fourth of July upon us, now all we need is sizzling summer weather to come on in.
Mother Nature will sure provide that as temperatures crack 90 degrees tomorrow, and remain in the low to mid 90s through the weekend and into early next week. The storm threat is low, but not zero, as I do expect an occasional thunderstorm to pop. The highest chance for that will be north and west of Boston.
Lakes Region next 4 days: Temps run 85-90 with a few hit or miss pop-up storms each afternoon despite many of the hours being dry. If you're camping, keep an eye to the sky, but expect a lot of hazy sun too.
Cape Cod/Islands next 4 days: After a several day stretch of clouds, we've finally broke the pattern for the better. Across the Cape and over the Vineyard, temps run 82-85 degrees with any low clouds and fog early, yielding to hazy sun. No rain here, but there will be a bit of a breeze out of the southwest, gusting 20-25mph. Nantucket, you'll be a bit cooler, 75-77 for you.
Enjoy the week and, not to sound like mom, but don't forget to drink plenty of water and use sunscreen ;-)
