Few More Raindrops Ahead

It was a struggle to see much sun along the North Shore today, but for many of us, a couple hours here and there of partly sunny skies graced the area this afternoon until the clouds filled back in late in the day. Also, at least it was dry afternoon after murky start to the day, which meant golfers and master chefs on the grill made out ok.
Tonight we'll track a couple areas of unsettled weather. One to our south, and one to our west. The batch showers to our south will graze Southeast Mass overnight, providing a few evening showers through Buzzards Bay and the Cape and Islands. A few downpours can't be ruled out overnight there as well. For the rest of us, it'll be a quiet evening, aside from a sprinkle or light shower in western Worcester County. We'll have to wait for the approaching cold front to our west to get closer before the chance of scattered showers becomes more widespread, well after midnight.
Scattered showers and storms rumble through tomorrow until midday as the cold front crosses. By early to mid afternoon some drier air starts to work in, sending the temps back into the low to mid 80s with some breaks of sun. Despite the cool front being through, there may be just enough instability behind it leftover, that with the heating of the day, a passing late day/early evening shower or storm, especially northwest of Boston is not out of the question.
Behind the front... a couple of beauties ahead. Low humidity, mostly sunny skies and temps near or above 80 are in store on Tuesday and Wednesday. Great golf days then, just don't tell your boss I was the one suggesting punching out "sick".
