As Good As It Gets

Sunny skies and highs in the low 80s! It's hard to beat perfect.
We only get a few days like this every summer, and with 2/3 of it over (ouch), there are only a handful of days like this left. Even through fall, I'd hazard to guess we have maybe 12-15 more like this until winter takes over and the snow flies. (Even then, there are some beautiful days in midwinter too, but that's the topic of another blog.)
We'll do a redux tomorrow, but the sea breeze will be more pronounced at the coast. Expect highs again to top 80 in many spots after a cool, comfortable night tonight.
Slight change in tomorrow's forecast: stronger sea breeze will engage along the coast in the afternoon. Other than that, sun will dominate.
More changes are afoot later in the week. Showers will arrive late on Thursday as a slow-moving weather system heads into New England. The showers will drag their feet on Friday, so expect the 1st part of the day to be wet.
Weekend is still looking OK. It won't be hot, it won't be raining all the time, but the shower threat will loom on Saturday (a little) and Sunday (a lot - in the PM). More on that later in the week.
I'm still gawking over this nice day tomorrow.
