Copy & Paste. That totally works here as our pattern hasn't changed much in the past 24 hours and there are no changes to the forecast during the next several days! this means more sunshine on tap today and beyond as high pressure remains anchored along the east coast for the next several days. There was a bit of a fall feel to the air yesterday & that's really the case this morning with many towns briefly dipping into the upper 40s/low 50s. That's dry air doing its thing and dry air can also warm up nicely so much so , that by afternoon many cities 7 towns will reach the upper 70s. Less wind is expected. #Outstanding.
We hold onto this awesome weather theme right into the upcoming weekend. There is one wrinkle though----wait?...what?--there will be a batch of clouds racing up the east coast Saturday afternoon and Sunday. For many of us its a non issue but for you folks on the Cape/islands I do think there will be a fair amount of clouds Saturday Night & Sunday. I am not expecting any rain from those clouds. Weekend temps begin to slowly warm with afternoon highs in the low 80s (Cooler Cape/Islands).
Hoping for one more round of heat & humidity? I think you'll get that next week as high pressure slides into the Atlantic Ocean and that will allow southern heat & humidity to trickle into New England starting on Monday. High temps next week will reach the mid & upper 80s for several days. 90 is also a possibility late next week. In terms of rain.....looks dry for the next 7-10 days across New England. Making up for June.
