More Clouds, But Not Much Rain

For all those keeping score, chalk this up as another top 10 summer day. How many has that been in the last couple of weeks? We've been on a roll weather-wise, and for the most part, the winning streak will continue. There are some day to day changes, but I still don't see a lot of rain in the forecast.
Thin clouds work in overnight, otherwise it's another comfortable night with good sleeping weather with lows in the mid 50s in the burbs to the mid 60s in the city.
The forecast is a bit tricky on Sunday in terms of how close moisture from a wave of low pressure gets to southern New England. My thinking hasn't changed much the last couple days, and that means I still expect more clouds mixed in with the sun Sunday, especially over the Cape/Islands and Buzzards Bay. In fact, it may just be rather overcast at times for the afternoon. Despite the clouds, much of the time is dry and temperatures do reach the mid 70s across the Cape, and near 80 in Boston and the burbs, where we have more sun. Best chance to see a few light showers or sprinkles is across Nantucket, but I can't rule it out across the Cape or the Vineyard either.
Next week, we'll watch the influence of the blue H to our northeast get replaced by the influence of a blue H over the Ohio Valley. That'll send in warmth and higher humidity as we remain dry. The last time we hit 90 degrees was on July 20th, and it looks like we can do it again by Wednesday and Thursday.
Have a great Sunday!
