Our little cool front that could is a bit stronger than I thought earlier....so....some showers & downpours (instead of sprinkles) are likely through mid morning then skies will begin to clear out this afternoon. ;o)
Fall is on the move. It's up in northern New England & southern Canada right now but it's heading this way. You can actually see it approaching......those dang clouds (and even some sprinkles/brief shower) in the Merrimack Valley. This cold front (leading edge of that chilly air) will easily move through here by midday and that will put a lid on temps for the afternoon. In fact, most towns will struggle to reach the low 70s this afternoon despite mostly sunny skies.
Tomorrow will be a chilly start to the day as many towns find their way into the mid 40s early in the day and those numbers will only crawl into the upper 60s by afternoon. All in all, a fantastic late summer/early fall day in store tomorrow.
As for the upcoming weekend, it's much nicer than the holiday weekend but clouds will be on the increase late Saturday afternoon and evening as milder air starts to return. Temps will reach the upper 70s on Saturday and do that again by Sunday afternoon. Great weekend for yard work, flag football, golf or picking apples. Enjoy!
