All About The Recovery
Posted by Chris Lambert
I love this time of year with the cool overnights and mild afternoons thanks to the low humidity air masses that move in. Throw in the fact football is back, the golf weather's great and apple picking is in full swing (apple picking more of an excuse to get to the warm cider donuts), September certainly can feature some fantastic weather and plenty to do around the area.
Outdoors plans today? No problems ahead. Sure, it's a cool start, but we'll recover nicely with highs heading up close to 80 degrees this afternoon with low humidity in place. A few more clouds mix in this afternoon, but we'll stay dry.
Tonight, more clouds move in ahead of a cool front, and once and awhile, a passing shower or sprinkle rolls through. Much of the night still features dry hours though. That front continues to move through southern New England Sunday morning. Along it, a passing shower or sprinkle is possible, but I don't expect a lot of rain. In fact, by the afternoon, more sunshine returns, allowing for a decent day overall as a cool northwest breeze takes over.
Summer time warmth returns by Wednesday with higher humidity and temperatures running in the mid to upper 80s.
Enjoy the weekend!
