Step By Step

Step By Step---yes, a catchy little tune from yesteryear but it also serves the purpose of today's blog title. The reason is for our step down from the mid summer weather back into early fall weather just in time for the weekend. Wednesday high temp was 97, yesterday was 88 and today we will barely reach the 70s. The last step in removing our summer feel will be getting rid of the humidity.
That removal is happening as I blog. Showers. It's the tail end of the cool front that is slowly jumping offshore this morning and that means we will have raindrops on & off for much of the morning (as well as early afternoon on the South Shore/Cape). By afternoon just a bunch clouds but even they will begin to pack their bags & leave around 5-6pm. At that time is when the drier air arrives---perfect for that Sox/Yanks game as well as the Friday Night Football games.
The weekend sees a return to early fall weather with a mix of sun & clouds on Saturday and mostly sunny skies on Sunday. Due to the afternoon clouds tomorrow, temps will be held in the 60s during the afternoon but they'll rebound into the low 70s by Sunday afternoon with more sunshine. Humidity is a non-issue both weekend days. Great for picking apples, yard work or playing some golf.
Have a great weekend!
