Dazzler On The Way

This weather system took its sweet time getting through New England. Hopes earlier in the week were for a quick exit to the showers this morning followed by increasing sun.
What went wrong?
Lil' gal named Gabrielle
stole the show and slowed the pace of this weather system. She fizzled this afternoon, but seas will remain rough through the weekend at the beaches.
Weekend looks good overall. Sunday's warmer and brighter than Saturday, but you could still make the case for a swell day on Saturday - albeit cool with an upper level low spinning overhead. And the clouds could get heavy enough to pop a shower across Northern Mass. and Southern NH. (Brief and spotty.)
With the cooler air in place for week (or more), you have to make a good case to get temperatures above the 70s. And I don't have one. For that reason, I'm marking the warmest days next week with highs in the mid 70s and no more. We surely have seen the last of the 90s, but now we'll see if we've seen the last of the 80s.
Apples/peaches are in season. Get out and pick!!!
Have a great weekend.
