Right on Cue
Posted by Chris Lambert
After a week that featured anything from temps in the 30s in the suburbs on Monday morning, to temps in the upper 90s by Wednesday afternoon, to scattered severe storms across New England, it's nice to have a quiet and seasonal early Fall-like pattern in place, just in time for the weekend.
The average high this time of year in Boston is 73, and we'll be close to that. A bit below it today, and a smidge above it tomorrow. More clouds mix in with the sun today with the brighter of the two weekend days tomorrow. Whether it's apple picking, the ball field or the golf course, the weekend weather turns out just fine, including out at Fenway Park as first pitch temps run in the upper 60s. Go Sox!!!!
The pattern overall is quiet next week with just a few scattered showers Monday and perhaps again on Friday. In between, we're dry Tuesday-Thursday with the coolest day on Tuesday.
Enjoy the weekend!
