The past 5 days have been loaded with sunshine and on Monday another long stretch of nice weather returns but between Friday & Monday is a weather blip on the radar----right smack dab on the weekend. It's a cool front--the leading edge of that next stretch of fantastic weather--and this front is producing clouds & rain. This band of rain is still several hours away so much of today is dry. The only issue will be building clouds & humidity. I do think that after 4pm a few sprinkles/brief showers will pop up in the Worcester Hills but all in all a decent day for playing gold, picking apples, working in the yard or watching the kids play soccer.
Sunday starts with clouds, showers & downpours--even a rumble of thunder as that cool front will rapidly sweep through here. Most towns will get close to an inch of rain and that rain will taper off between 9-11am. After 11am it's a dry day (sans the wet ground) and even some sunshine. Should be fine for the Sox game as well as the Patriots game--tail-gating will be wet with showers departing by 11am). Humidity starts high on Sunday then drops by late day...about the time fall officially arrives, 4:44pm.
Monday, the first full day of fall, offers abundant sunshine as well as crisp, dry air.
Enjoy!--Congrats Red Sox!
