Send In The Clouds
Posted by Jeremy Reiner
Storminess in the Maratimes the past few days has been too far away to bother us with clouds & rain but we have seen some wind on that back side of that weather system. Today, we lose that pesky breeze but will actually see a few clouds arrive later this morning. No worries on rain though---these will be flat-topped clouds that set up some pretty picture-taking weather. As for temps, most towns reach the upper 60s (lil cooler at the coast).
For tomorrow plan on similar weather which means a cool start to the day but afternoon temps reach 70 for an hour or two. Like today, a few clouds will fill up the sky during the afternoon hours. Friday offers up a continuation of sunshine & seasonal temps. Awesome.
As we work to the weekend, the pattern doesn't change much so the weather message stays the same---partly to mostly sunny skies. Morning temps in the 40s/50s and afternoon highs in the low 70s (60s on the Cape). On Sunday, a few more clouds will be around late in the day and these clouds will mark the possibility of our next storm. It will be a storm that slowly evolves out over the ocean and pass well southeast of New England early next week. i do think it will be close enough to us for clouds & showers on Monday.
Until then, enjoy that September sunshine.
