Send Out The Clouds

How does one blog about strato-cumulus clouds? I dunno---let's find out....
Yup, it's that quiet where the weather blog will detail a clump of clouds that came drifting into southern New England yesterday afternoon and are still with us this morning. No worries as these clouds will continue their southerly drift over the next few hours allowing sunshine to return by afternoon. At one time, these clouds had some raindrops in the mix but not the case today---they'll just wipe out the chance of early morning solar glare. the clouds also prevented another chilly morning and by afternoon, with sunshine around, most towns reach the upper 60s.
More sunshine is in order tomorrow and right into the weekend as high pressure stays with us. As we step into the weekend a warming trend begins but no worries--those window AC's don;t need to go back in....this time of year a warming trend means afternoon highs in the 70s with low humidity.
There was some chatter by yours truly of a storm on the east coast early next week.....that chatter will now stop as a storm will form but likely several hundred miles offshore. Soooo.......more sunshine on tap for several days next week.
Water those mums.
