A Danish..A Donut...A Cloud
Posted by Jeremy Reiner
They say a donut with no holes is a danish.....a cloud on the ground is fog. We have another cloud on the ground this morning and, like yesterday, will lift and fade away by mid morning. The week features the same pattern we had last week---dry. High pressure hasn't moved much since last Friday and that means more dry weather for the next several days.
There is some storminess on the maps this morning and even though this storminess is out over the ocean, the storm will provide a northeast wind here in New England. That means most towns will have high temps in the 60s--coolest along the coast . As we step toward tomorrow that ocean storm no longer has an influence on our wind direction--in fact--a westerly breeze will commence. that westerly breeze will boost temps into the lower 70s by afternoon. By Wednesday, the warming trend will continue with many towns into the low 80s!
That 80 degree weather on Wednesday will be classic fall warmth---a dry warmth but by Friday, the humidity will make a return and making it feel like late summer weather. My window AC units are out. Oh well.
